I LEARNED TO EMBRACE THE UNKNOWN. TO OPEN TO THE MYSTERY.

This helped me, but more importantly, my kids. THEY were more happy, confident, present, connected. I realized the importance of knowing how I define being successful as a mom: success = my kids knowing they are worthy, having freedom to be true to themselves, and connecting with inner fulfillment of joy, love, purpose and compassion (certainly no small feat for any of us in 2020).

But before I could expect to guide
them to success, I had to ask myself some hard questions: Was I being true to myself? Did I feel fulfilled?

YOU CAN'T LEAD ANYONE ELSE FURTHER THAN YOU HAVE GONE YOURSELF.

I had to start with me - simple mindset shifts with profound impacts. And the ripple effect was real - as I was happier and more connected, so was everyone else in my family.

I realized that life is NOT a problem to be solved. I replaced “either-or” with “both-and”. I widened my perspective. I connected to my heart and got out of my head.

"THERE'S NO WAY TO BE A PERFECT MOTHER AND A MILLION WAYS TO BE A GOOD ONE" - Jill Churchill

I learned to not let the perfect get in the way of the good. I realized that I was (as we all are) doing the best I can - and that is good enough. I won’t always get it “right” - yet I can always begin again.

A lifelong learner, I continue to study, learn, grow and evolve as a friend, coach and therapist. I am here to help you navigate challenges and celebrate the sweetness.
